So its been warming up lately!! Thank Goodness!! This past week its been in the 70's and on Saturday it was even in the Upper 80's so of course I have spent every waking moment outside in the sunshine. Accually I have even been taking my naps in the sunshine it just feels so much like home i love it!! But this weekend was especially good Matt and I's good friends Karie and Alex went strait to New York's version of "of the beach" which looked to me more like a lil sand box but never the less we got our beach towls and spend the aftertoon noon getting some sun. On Saturday I got up early and did my ministry which is Community Service where I cleaned up a museum in Screwn Lake town then rushed back to join Karie, Alex, and Matt agian to make our way into town to get some supplies then spent the evening a Lake George walking on the shore and looks at boats and people fishing we even got to see a guy catch a fish!! I was wishing Keagan would have been there to see it, it was huge it was about the length of my arm!! But now monday is back and have to get back to work yuck!! so enjoy the photos!!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!

Hey guys thought I would send my warmest greetings to back home and tell everyone Happy Easter!! Hope you all have had a wonderful day of celebration!! I miss everyone tons!! It was really sad to spend this Easter for the first time not seeing a bunch of little kiddos running around looking for the Easter eggs that Cody and I would always enjoy hiding! But I must say it has been a joy spending my first holiday accually with my boyfriend Matthew even though we have been dating since November because of the distance we were unable to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas together so having eachothers company this easter was a real treat! We also loved having an extended weekend!! I was able to have Friday and this coming Monday off which Matthew and I have not failed to take complete advantage of!! We have spent much of the time catching up on much needed rest especially seeing how Matthew spent his entire Spring Break and a week of school on a Sports International missions trip he has been very tired from his busy scheduale (but enjoyed the blessings of the trip and led a lil boy to Christ)

This weekend we have also had fun spending a day in town with a good friend Sam shopping at the mall and eating Taco Bell. I think the highlight of our weekend was just spending our evening last night down in the student lounge putting together a puzzle (even though Matthew hates puzzles) we both laughed so hard over silly things and just enjoyed eachothers company!!

Anyways tomrrow we both have to get back into the swing of things even though we have another day off we plan to use it to get a head start on school work as well I plan on helping Matthew apply for many different schools for the next two years; he is planning on becoming a Pastor and is looking at many different options all he is really sure of is that he wants to be in the ministry the rest is up to God.. As for me I plan on spending next year at home getting a general education out of the way and finding a steddy job to keep me busy! I'm Still here!

Hey Guys!!

So yea I am pretty much a failure at Blogging guys!! I'm Sorry its been like over a month since I updated all you guys on my life but once i got home for the holidays I felt like my life has been turned into a movie and is being played in fast foward! So to catch you guys up first off I finished my fall quarter with a 3.0 which may sound low but here its just about the best I can do and the beauty of it is I am now officially out of study hours!!! which means no more studying at my desk now I am constantly studying on my bed with my music playing it makes me feel more at home! Anyways after the fall quarter I was able spend a wonderful week with my amazing brother Matt and his wife Jaime as well as his two children!! This was such an awesome time for me specially because Mya has always had a special place in my heart so we had a blast getting in the Christmas spirit with Gingerbread houses, wrapping gifts, and watching polar express over and over agian!!!! After the wonderful week I was completely spent so mom met up with me in Buffalo and on two hours sleep we went back to CALIFORNIA as place I never dreamed I would be so happy to see agian in my life!! I had a wonderful Christmas with my family and loved getting to see all my best friends agian! we all talked about how awesome it was that the second all of us go back together it was like we never left eachother but I think it made my goodbyes even more sad! But the fun times together made it all worth it!! And I have to say the highlight of my whole trip would have to be seeing my sister and best friend Ashlie. Since she has gotten married I know I have really learned how much God blessed me to have such a great big sister to look up to and not to mention all my other older siblings it was a great trip home thanks to all of you for making it so special to me!!!

I also got the joy of spending at least one evening with all the California nieces and nephews!! this was the night I spent with Hailey, Keagan, and Bethany they put on a wonderful Christmas play for me!! and we looked a christmas lights,visited Santa, popped popcorn, and of course more POLAR EXPRESS!!

So I know its been a long while since I have posted a blog but I have been trying to rap up all my school work and hopefully get out of study hours!!! Anyways i thought it was important to post this one blog in support of Matt and Jaime of there wonderful Christmas Spirit!!! Unlike many other Grinches we have in the family not to mention any (Matt, Ashlie, Tim, and Casey) who are unable to show there excitement for Christmas all year round!!! Open Air Evangelism

Hey agian!!

So as you all know I had the chance this weekend to witness in New York City this weekend it was wonderful i really enjoyed it!! but it was a real stretch for me I started off by saying goodbye on friday to all my close friends hear and got on the bus with one of the girls on my ministry team Kezia and we were in for a 5 and a half hour bus ride during this time we got a chance to know eachother and catch up on some homework which is always needed here!!! Anyways we got to Manhaton at around 7 and left our stuff inside of a church this is where i learned i left all my stuff back at the BI so i didnt have anything not even a pillow just my purse two jackets and my clothes i was wearing Kezzy was nice enough to share a blacket that night to sleep with and a sweater for the next day but besides that i was empty handed which to me became such a blessing because i have really been working in my heart on being content with what i have and this was a great chance for me just to be humble and content with the generousity of my new friends!! anyways Friday night i was able to witness to many people through tracks on the street of time square!! i was accually literally standing right in front of where the ball drops every new years!! which was pretty cool along with that the next day i was able to get up early and witness to others in Bryants park which is a well known park in the upper parts of NYC i really enjoyed this short trip i'm absolutely beat right now though I think for me one of the more intense parts would be the subway it was kind of all overwhelming but God has taught me alot through the trip right now I am just learning what Joy really is and how to love sincerely!!! Well im off to be now I know you were all probly hoping to see pictures of NYC but this trip was to short to have any down time and i didnt want to carry my camera while witnessing it was to much of a distraction!! so enjoy the one picture of me and kezzy my new friend!!! love you all!!

Winter Wonderland

Hey Guess!! well wouldn't you guess it as I was in the process of saving my latest post the snow started coming down i was so excited i ran outside with my roomate Iris (who is from Hong Kong so has the same excitement for snow as I do) and would just stood in it!! it continued snowing all during study hours till 9:00 that night so right when we were done with devos kylie, and i bundled up and ran outside and of course matthew knew how excited we would be for all this great snow so he met up with us and taught us how to really play in the snow!!! He got me with a few snowballs as well but we built an awesome snowman to with the lil snow we had it was a blast the snow was pretty much gone by noon the next day but was soo much fun while it lasted I can't wait for it to return!! so enjoy the pictures i have i dont have many cause i didnt want to get my camera wet!!! love you all and miss you as always!!!

Ministries

Hey guys! So I'm sorry it has been so long since I have had a chance to update my blog but I must admit I have become very busy the past few weeks and haven't found much time to fit this blog thing in this past few weeks I have had lots of tests and have been working on a theology paper. Just today infact I have three tests and one of them was even on flag football!!! that one was a stretch for me! matt had to tutor me on it and I am still hoping I passed it!! :) But lets see here I thought I might let you know last week we had our first set of snow fluries!!!! they only last about an hour and were very light but i got to see them during our 10 minute break in between classes, Kylie and I ran out and stood in it just to turn around and see the many people laughing at us for our excitement :)! But we havent seen snow since then and they predicted 12 inches of snow today but i have yet to see any its been really rainy all day today a perfect reading day (until i fell asleep of course) And last weekend was my first weekend participating in ministry we had a harvast jamboree on the ranch side of the campus it was like our halloween parties at home but really big with a columbine drama that matt was in and kylie and I ran carnival games I did a blowup course it was fun but very cold in the thirties and all the games were outside we dressed warm and were suprised how warm we stayed (the hot cocoa i drank the entire time helped to) And this weekend on friday and Saturday i will be away on OAE which is my ministry to New York City and yes I am aware friday is halloween i personally am excited to see what God is going to do this weekend though i must admit i think dad has some butterflies about me going.. The only thing that makes me nervous is on my ministry i dont have any close friends but I guess its just another chance for me to make new friends :) Well I must be off to dinner but i will leave you with these few pictures sorry i dont have more these were all i could snatch from the harvest jamboree!!! Hello Agian!! So First off I wanted to send a big congratulations to Lauren for her new Baby Ryan I am so excited for you!!!!
So here at Word of Life Kylie, Dawnell, Lydia and I have one thing that is the absolute highligh of our day!! Its checking our mail!!! we all go at least once everyday to see if we have any letters from family and friends and when we get one it is the absolute most exciting thing ever!! And yesturday was probly my most exciting mail yet!! not only did i get a Wonderful letter from Grandma which was such a blessing as well as some beautiful pictures for Landon which is hanging on my wall now, but I also received a Wonderful box from Keagan, Hailey, and Bethany!!!! I was so excited I was able to pick up all my mail on the way to my friends soccer game with Dawnell and Lydia who also received mail and we all open all our special suprises on the soccer feild!!! So thanks to all who have been sending me treats they are so wonderful im sorry i havent had the time to write back i have been so busy but your efforts haven't gone unnoticed!!! My First Post!!

Hey Guys!!!
So its offical my family has finally got the Baby Girl Blogging I must admit it took some work on their part but Hailey was for sure the one who broke me!! When i was on the phone with Angie last night hearing that Hailey waits for Kylie to update her blog just to see what life was like for me at college, was more than enough to convince me to get this thing started!!! I must warn though your going to have to be patient with me as i learn how to work this blog thing as well as find the time to update it!!!
Now to all who I haven't been in receint contact with!! I have been in New York now for almost a month attending Word of Life Bible Institute I love it here though it was a bit of a struggle leaving my family and my best friend of 13 years I decided to take a leap of faith.
So on September 11th possibly the worst flying day of the year I began my adventure with a casual friend of mine Kylie (Kylie and I have known eachother since eighth grade through cheerleading but have never taken the time to build a strong relationship) after the 8 hour plane ride we become good friends navagating our way through the Chicago airport, sitting next to annoying passangers, breaking my handle to my suitcase, and searching for a man by the name of "Carl" to come and pick us up (which i might note we still never met). Once we arrived at Word of Life we were quickly dropped off in a dark dorm at 1 in the morning with a sleeping R.A.... from there we managed to get about 2 hours of sleep learning the matresses here are nothing like home.When we awoke we became familar with our new RA. Rhi and our roomate Iris from Hong Kong and we regestered and began making many new friends.. since that crazy week over 4 weeks ago now I have definitly learned to ajust here for the first time ever last week I called my sister Ashlie totally forgetting what time it was in California! Besides that I have also met many new friends my closests are Lydia and Dawnell two girls form Pennsylvania who kylie and I do tons with and also enjoy hanging out with Rhi our R.A. from Georgia there are also many more friends but I won't begin to list them all people here are just so friendly. The school work is definitly a challenge but I must say I enjoy it more than High School and I have felt like I have finally begun growing Spiritually in a way I never thought I would. So as I begin to bring this update to a close i promise to get on soon and give you more of a current update but this is just a start I also wanted to thank you all for your many prayers it helps me in getting through the day i love you all dearly and miss you a ton!!! I can't wait to see you guys!!
